Dining with Demons
Aug 30, 2026 • Pastor Brady Rose
Preaching from 1 Corinthians 10:14-22, Paul warns believers in Corinth—and us—about the hidden danger of idolatry. What looks like “just food,” “just entertainment,” or “just a harmless habit” can open spiritual portals for demonic influence. Paul’s antidote is two-fold: flee every idol and flee to something better—the Lord’s Supper, where we truly participate in Christ’s body and blood and in the unity of His church. The message unfolds in three movements: (1) Run from idols, (2) Fellowship with the Savior through communion, and (3) Cut every tie that gives demons access to our lives. The sermon ends with a call to repent, examine our hearts, and take the Lord’s Supper in a worthy, undivided way.
